Driver+Build: A Track Dedicated Carbon Widebody Aston GT4 Vantage

I got a chance to chat with Hiro Akane from ACR Performance on there build, Aston Martin GT4 Vantage. I was always a fan of the Super GT series and IDLERS racing so to be able to interview Hiro was a dream experience so let's get into it. 
1. What is your name or (company) and what is it that you do?

2. How did you get involved in motorsports?
モータースポーツに参加したきっかけは何ですか？
When I was in car sales, I ran a number of track experience programs.
There were many professional racing drivers around me, but I had never been taught. Nine years ago (2013), when I went to ASTON MARTIN RACING(Prodrive) in England, I received an invitation to the 100th anniversary race event of ASTON MARTIN. That was the first time I practiced for two races in GT4.
3. What car(s) do you currently race and also year/make/model?

4. List some of the mods done to your car so far.

OZ wheels (racing)
VOSSEN wheels (on road)
5. Any future modifications or plans for the current build?
今後の改造、または現在のビルドに対する計画はありますか？
The GT4 is a development vehicle for ACR PERFORMANCE components, testing new components.
For example, for aerodynamics.
ACR PERFORMANCE body kits do not like to be flashy.
6. Any future projects or builds you wanna do next?
次にやりたいプロジェクトや建造物があれば教えてください。
I want to give power to V8 VANTAGE.
The power obtained by installing a supercharger such as a supercharger or turbo is very attractive.
But we do all the tests on the circuit, so masquerading power doesn't work.
7. What is your current set up? [Wheels,tires,suspension]
現在のセットアップは？[ホイール、タイヤ、サスペンション]
Suspension settings are always changing.
Wheels are FIAGT4 designated OZ
Tires will vary depending on race regulations. Currently, we are sponsored by VOTOUR tires for the radial tire class races.
VOTOUR TEMPESTA ENZO V-01R Front 285/35-18 Rear 285/35-18. The suspension is the GT4's original Bilstein and coil springs. Ride height is adjustable.

9. What is it that you do in the motorsports scene?

I have a couple of jobs.
・ACR PERFORMANCE
・Team ACR
In addition to this, I am an importer and distributor of several other manufacturers to Japan. Some of the brands we import and distribute are related to motorsport.
10. Who are your current drivers?
現在のドライバーは誰ですか？
I am the driver of every race.
Endurance races are also open to drivers.
11. What is the next plan for you and the team?
あなたとチームの次の計画は何ですか？
We want to make it possible for amateur racing drivers to race with ASTON MARTIN.
They enjoy motorsport in second-hand racing cars. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, BMW, etc. (Toyota, Nissan, Honda) More choices of ASTON MARTIN for these racing cars.
12. What are some of the pros and cons of being in the motorsports scene?
モータースポーツ界に身を置くことの長所と短所を教えてください。
We need money to keep racing. It starts with choosing a car. When we race with ASTON MARTIN, we are also promoting ACR PERFORMANCE. The racing department is active because we sell racing parts and cars made by ASTON MARTIN RACING. Racing with ASTON MARTIN requires a lot of money.
13. Your favorite or most memorable moment on the track?
あなたのお気に入りの、あるいは最も記憶に残るトラック上の瞬間は？
This is Le mans in 2015. I raced at ASTON MARTIN V8 VANTAGE GT2 at that time.
